Terms of Service

Welcome to ProfileAura. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website profileaura.app and the services offered on it (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
ProfileAura is operated by ProfileAura, based in Greece ("we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@profileaura.app.
2. What the Service does
ProfileAura analyzes publicly available data from public social media profiles — such as public posts, comments, likes, and profile information — and generates an entertainment-focused "aura report" using artificial intelligence, including insights such as top fans, frequent commenters, and engagement patterns.
The Service is provided for entertainment purposes only. Reports are generated by AI based on a limited snapshot of public data and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Nothing in a report should be treated as a factual claim about any person, their intentions, or their behavior.
3. No affiliation with any social media platform
ProfileAura is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms Inc., TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., or any other social media platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a report. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
5. Analyzing profiles
You may only use the Service to analyze public profiles. When you submit a profile for analysis, you confirm that:
- the profile is public;
- your use of the resulting report is lawful in your jurisdiction; and
- you will not use reports to harass, stalk, intimidate, defame, or harm any person.
You are solely responsible for the profiles you choose to analyze and for how you use the results.
6. Payment
The full report costs $4.99 (tax inclusive) as a one-time payment per report. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Payments are processed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. The charge will appear on your statement as PROFILEAURA.APP. For payment questions, contact hello@profileaura.app.
7. Digital content and your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Your report is digital content delivered immediately after payment. By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law once delivery has begun.
8. Refunds
Because reports are generated and delivered instantly and incur real processing costs, delivered reports are non-refundable, except where required by law.
However: if your payment succeeds and we fail to deliver your report (for example, due to a technical error), contact us at hello@profileaura.app and we will either regenerate your report or issue a full refund — your choice.
9. Report availability
Generated reports remain accessible for 30 days after generation, after which they expire and are deleted (see our Privacy Policy for full retention details). Expired reports cannot be recovered. Re-running an analysis — for example, to capture new activity on a profile — requires a new purchase, and analyses run more than 24 hours apart are based on freshly collected data.
10. Service availability
The Service depends on the availability of publicly accessible social media data and on third-party providers. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available for any particular profile (for example, private profiles, deleted profiles, or profiles with no public activity cannot be analyzed). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by us. Your report is generated for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your aura card and report results on social media — in fact, we encourage it — but you may not resell reports, offer the Service commercially to others, or misrepresent reports as coming from any social media platform.
You may not scrape, reverse engineer, or systematically extract data from the Service, or use automated tools to access it.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated content is probabilistic by nature and may contain errors.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory provisions of applicable law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for how you or others use or interpret a report.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for intent or gross negligence).
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
